ABOUT ANTI-AGEING

Skin ageing is an integral part of the natural human ageing process and is influenced by many internal and external factors. These factors together cause structural and physiological changes in skin that we perceive as signs of ageing like dryness, dullness, uneven skin tone, laxity, sagging of skin, and fine lines & wrinkles. Researches show that most of the signs of ageing of the skin are attributed to the loss of collagen and elastin fibres and inability to retain moisture in the skin. Most anti-ageing procedures are thus focused on inducing collagen production and hydration. At cosmetic we have a basket of many such procedures suited for all skin types. Some of the procedures are listed below:? Peels? Advance facials? Dermaroller? Radiofrequency micro-needling? HIFU? Thermage? Fractional Laser? Botulinum Fillers? Threads? Skincare product range What you need to understand is that ageing is an ongoing process and accordingly anti-ageing procedures need to be taken repeatedly to attain and maintain results. This should be coupled with a good skincare routine at home which at a bare minimum includes cleansing, toning moisturizing and protecting from the sun. On your visit to cosmetic, you will be explained how to take care of your skin in addition to advice on anti-ageing procedures best suited to you.

Want to stay young forever?

We don’t know how to stop the clock, but we can help you fool the cameras and mirrors into thinking you’re a younger you. Here are some essential tips to get the skincare routine you need.

Wash with a gentle cleanser

Cleansing is important for removing any skincare product or makeup that you’ve applied during the day, as well as natural skin oils, pollutants, and bacteria that are accumulated. It also means your skincare products will be able to enter your skin and work more effectively!

You will use a gentle cleanser to preserve your skin barriers and keep it resistant to dehydration and damage. Cleansers with high ph like natural soaps are very harsh and can leave your skin vulnerable to irritation and infection.

Another ingredient to avoid is sodium lauryl sulfate, as it’s very harsh. You also don’t need to buy cleansers with fancy, active ingredients. Cleansers aren’t on your skin for very long. Those active ingredients are far more useful in later steps, like when you apply the serum.
